Definitely a next wise choice is to go solar!
I live in Spain and 5 years ago I built my own solar installation, 4 panels = 920 Wp, a MPPT regulator 120V/50Amp, 4 batteries 6V/ 460Ah and a 2KW converter 24V / 220V. My system can be easily more than doubled!
But for now it’s plenty enough for my needs, living in a small house 24m2!
Tiny or small houses have a great future ahead!
